JOB: Treasury and Accounts Manager

£35-45k HOURS: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday COMPANY: We are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Treasury and Accounts manager for a rapidly growing and well established company. You will be working in a fast paced environment, with an accounts assistant reporting into you. JOB ROLE: The role will include: Tax and Treasury Prepare, reconcile and submit monthly VAT returns Prepare and submit EC Sales and Intrasrat dispatches/arrivals returns Funding and foreign exchange Global treasury services (cash management) Credit and bank relationship management. Monitor cash allocations Liaise with shipping department to ensure that receivables are notified in a timely manner Monitor borrowing limits - reporting collateral positions In depth month end reports With additional daily activities including: Bank reconciliations Trade finance loans Preparation / submission of trade payment requests and facilities Maintain loan file and register Record transactions in cash book and reconcile to bank position Post cash book to nominal and subsidiary ledgers Allocate cash to subsidiary account bookings Ensure advances are correctly allocated and released upon receipt Post purchase ledger (overhead) invoices Prepare/update overhead analysis About You : A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject (Finance, Economics, Accountancy) or a Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ ACCA or equivalent standard Proven experience in Corporate Accountancy within a similar environment Knowledge of Treasury/ Financial Markets/ Foreign exchange is essential Advanced Excel skills and experience across different accounting systems Demonstrated ability to support a team culture of continuous improvement and process optimisation Analytical mind set with an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written Proactive self-starter with an ability to manage competing priorities Ability to work across teams at a local/global level and lead project initiatives with minimal supervision and an open communication style. Able to deliver on CFO / Board objectives and directions.
