Axon Moore is currently recruiting on behalf of a high growth business based in Trafford Park who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This newly created role of Assistant Accountant will work closely alongside the Finance Director and will ideally suit candidates who are looking for a varied and challenging role. Full financial study support will be provided with this role alongside excellent mentoring from senior staff. Key responsibilities will include;
• Production of monthly management accounts
• Checking and submission of job costs to commercial teams
• Processing of accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing of monthly payment runs
• Assisting with audit preparation
• Assisting with forecasting and budgeting duties
• VAT returns
• PAYE/NI Preparation, submission and payment To apply for this role candidates must;
• Be AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified
• Have at least 12 months experience working within a similar role
