Responsibilities:
Working within the financial reporting and tax department. You will assist with the following duties: Managing the company's general ledger Working closely with functional managers to monitor monthly overhead expenditure Assist in the preparation of annual budgets Preparing VAT returns What are we looking for? You must be part qualified, qualified technician At least 2 years' experience working in accounts preparation. Strong attention to detail and Excel skills are essential as is experience working as part of a multi-functional team. Preference will be given to those with experience of using ERP packages such as Protean and with previous experience in the preparation and submission of tax returns for VAT, Intrastat/EC Sales. As a member of a small dedicated team, the ability to multi task and work effectively while adhering to strict deadlines is also essential. You will be a self-starter with the ability to identify and implement changes to systems and procedures.

Salary:
