My client is seeking to recruit a 'hands on' Finance Director, to take full responsibility for the Finance Team and the accounting and billing functions of The Group. The post holder will be responsible for all technical and practical accounting requirements of The Group as well as performing the wider duties of a Finance Director. Preparation of monthly management accounts Daily management of group bank accounts including preparing and submitting payments Supervision of a large finance team Proactive management of debtors and credit control Responsible for ensuring timely reporting and payment of statutory liabilities Liaising with auditors and management of the year end and audit process Liaison with financial institutions regarding management of group borrowing requirements Management of financial relationships with major suppliers Preparation of monthly reports and presentation for Board meetings Preparation of forecasts and annual budgets Candidate Background You will be a fully qualified Finance Director with several years continuous experience gained in a medium to large sized business. You must have strong IT skills, including Excel to an advanced level. You will be a resilient, proactive and commercially astute accountant who can offer robust 'hands on' practical financial skills, coupled with strong strategic thinking.
