Compliance Officer Outskirts Of York - Requires own transport £21-£24k per annum A fun and friendly team require a Compliance Administrator to join their team. Reporting into the Office Manager, the main purpose of this role is to ensure the company complies with all regulatory requirements complete and maintain the company Quality Management System and collate data and create reports for ISO9001/ISO14001 accreditation. Key responsibilities include:
• Maintain and develop customer compliance records
• Collate and input hazardous waste chemical data, ensuring all documents comply with legislation and report to the MD, as well as completing returns
• Maintain and develop customer relationships, providing relevant parties with documentation in accordance with UKAS inspections, i.e. Certificates of Conformity/Duty of Care
• Collate data to maintain ISO9001/ISO14001 accreditation, sole responsibility.
• Establish, implement and maintain processes needed for the Quality Management System
• Liaise with external bodies on matters of accreditation via telephone.
• General Office Administration Duties.
• Supporting the Office Manager in operational aspects, driving forward change in line with procurement requirements As the successful candidate you will meet the below criteria Have experience in a similar role Be savvy with compliance/audit and be competent in ensuring a company complies with legal legislation Have experience of ISO9001 You will have strong communication, organisation and IT skills - a proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel is required. An understanding of pivot tables and mail merge would be highly beneficial. You will be able to use your own initiative, manage your own workload and build successful relationships with both customers and colleagues.
