Payroll Assistant - St Albans AJ Chambers are working with a progressive firm with an expanding payroll bureau. As the division grows, our client is looking to appoint a Payroll Assistant to join this growing team. Duties would include: Undertake a range of computerised and manual payroll processing assignments from start to finish Be the first point of contact for clients and assist with any queries that they may have Process payroll end of year return Reconcile and resolve any issues with reference to both client and colleagues Assist with the processing of Payroll from other team members Successful candidate would: Have previous experience with Sage or Xero (Ideal but not essential) Have a basic understanding of PAYE Be able to demonstrate a competent knowledge of the following: Starters, leavers, RTI and EPS Have a proven ability to work within a team and confidently liaise within the firm Be able to solve problems and mange time effectively If you feel you would be suitable for this role as Payroll Assistant, please apply direct or contact Danny Brown at AJ Chambers .
