Senior Pricing Analyst - Salary to £70K - Plus Benefits - London J10623 This financial giant is searching for an accomplished Analyst to support the global business analysis and pricing team to drive the achievement of global revenue and profit targets. It is critical that the incumbent organises and synthesises multiple data sources to support recommendations of strategic sales and operational decision making through insight. • Support the build out data driven insight across all global business units.
• Identify and drive new revenue opportunities and extract maximum value from existing client accounts
• Use pricing as the key commercial driver.
• Quickly establish a deep business understanding to apply appropriate data strategies to the relevant market segments.
• Drive the correlation of competitor data that will start to build out a repository for competitor pricing history.
• Maintain a database of competitor price data
• Create a record of existing pricing policies
• Maintain pricing database for global pricing analysis Experience & Skills Required
• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline i.e. Maths, Stats, O.R. etc.
• Must have excellent statistical modelling skills in a commercial environment.
• Experience in programming languages such as SQL, Python and R essential.
• Past experience may involve management consulting preferably with experience in financial services and payments companies in the B2B space.
• Have a strong analytical, strategic and commercial focus
• Demonstrate a high level of competency in data interpretation.
• Comfortably work across multiple organisational functions.
• Demonstrate a high standard of technical excellence using Excel, PowerPoint and data manipulation tools.
• Previously exposure to working across a sales landscape advantageous.
