Your new role: Nigel Wright Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well known business based in the Teesside area who are seeking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their small and friendly accounting function. This role will focus around the production of monthly management accounts, analysis and reporting management accounting date. This opportunity would suit someone who is AAT Qualified or studying their CIMA (Certificate Level). Duties and responsibilities will include: Processing purchase invoices. Processing sales invoices. Managing accruals and prepayments. Supporting with month-end close. Analysing variances and resolving issues by liaising with budget holders and making recommendations. Establishing relationships with stakeholders across the business with budget responsibility and ensure they are aware of their finance responsibilities. Preparing and producing monthly management reports using Excel. Supporting statutory and commercial audits. As the ideal candidate, you will: Be AAT Qualified Level 4 or be studying towards CIMA (Certificate level). Experienced in a management accounts based role. Have advanced Excel skills including Look-Ups and Pivot Tables. Have experience of using SAP or another ERP system. Be keen and ambitious to develop.
