This is an exciting position that would be ideally suited to candidates who are currently studding accountancy or finance and looking to gain experience. You may have just completed a degree, or you might be home studying and looking to work to gain hands on accountancy experience. This will be a temporary role to work over the summer period for 12 weeks. Start: Mid-June 2019

Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire Hourly Rate: £8.50 per hour Benefits: 28 days holiday, NEST pension Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 17.15pm Duration: 12 weeks Duties include: Sending bank statements Post invoices/credit notes onto Sage/NAV Maintain folder of bank details Prepare weekly payment run Deal with supplier payment queries Maintain spreadsheet of staff mileage Maintain invoice log Bank reconciliations Reconcile supplier statements as received and chase invoices Maintain log of PO invoices and raise sales invoices to the relevant companies Filing of purchase invoices, proformas, supplier statements, bank payments and remittances Skills and Experience: Basic/ Intermediate Excel user Good communication skills Holding a 'can do' attitude towards customers at all times Solving customer issues/queries quickly, keeping them informed of progress Anticipate customer needs, taking steps to avoid potential problems Approach your work in a professional, level headed & consistent manner Complete high quality work within expected time scales Show willingness and enthusiasm to try new methods of working Avoid issues happening again by learning from mistakes If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
