We are currently recruiting a Finance Manager for a manufacturing company in Guildford. The ideal candidate will have experience in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and FP&A Analysis. You will be acting as number 2 to the Finance Director, given the opportunity to grow into the role and support business improvement. Key Responsibilities Operational Financial Management: Detailed Review of country and op co monthly reporting packs (P&L and Balance Sheets) Gross margin analysis for key businesses-variance analysis Collecting, reviewing and interpreting financial information Monthly divisional presentations Challenge local op co numbers FX risk management Working capital review and driving improvements Manage budget process with local op cos (instruction, review and follow up) Production of quarterly reporting packsProduction of monthly divisional finance pack Conduct bi-annual business reviews with each business (on site and at UK HQ). Mergers and Acquisitions: Provide internal and external financial due diligence for potential targets Deal closure and completion audits Post completion integration Head Office/Group Finance Risk Management Input into the H/O risk managementassessment process (evaluation and identification of risks and controls ) Follow up on internal audit recommendations for op cosReview of audit reports Ad-hoc statutory accounting support for half year and full year Projects Ad hoc financial and operational project work (reporting improvements; ERP upgrades; research capital projects etc).
