Management Accountant, Edinburgh £180-£220 Day Rate

Hays Senior Finance are currently partnered with a leading IT company, that sit within a large Financial Services organisation in Edinburgh, to recruit a Management Accountant. Your new company is a dynamic and highly reputable establishment in the IT industry, and they are offering a competitive daily rate for this exciting opportunity. Joining a small team, you will assist them as the business expands rapidly, taking on new clients and projects.

Your new role
Day to day you will be responsible for ensuring that periodic reports are prepared and that exceptions are identified and challenged. You will complete transaction tasks in relation to the company's global activity, and you will provide support for business decisions. You will also be responsible for forecasting, and you will use your knowledge and experience to identify areas of improvement/weaknesses and suggest modifications as appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with the experience and technical expertise necessary to deal with a variable workload. You will be a team player with strong communication skills, as you will be sharing reports with team members based in other countries. You will deliver reports with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and you will possess the ability to use your own initiative and suggest new ideas for the development of the business.
