In this role, you will oversee the accounts department of the company and ensure things run smoothly. Supervising teams headed up by Management Accountants, mentoring and developing the team and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements. In this role you will be involved in the following: Budget planning, reforecasting; Consolidations; Authorising payroll, managing credit control and debt levels and monitoring risks; Trust fund accounts; Treasury - bank review and cash flow for subsidiaries, consolidation of all accounts and process flows; Year End - preparation/management of lead schedules for audit; Management of Audit process, attend reviews with audit team, ensure and agree statutory accounts; Monthly reporting Overhead reporting for cost centres. The Candidate Previous experience within a distribution business would be advantageous; An experienced Finance Controller with experience of supervising teams Proven ability to work to strict deadlines Decision making on behalf of the business An excellent communicator The Package
