HR Business Partner - Learning & Development 9-12 Month Maternity Cover Job Market - Human Resources / Insurance HR Business Partner - Learning & Development - About the role 9-12 month maternity cover working within the HR Business Partnering team to provide learning, talent and development service to the business whilst supporting the wider HR agenda and projects. Working flexibly across a number of HR areas depending on priorities as outlined below: Learning and Development Coordinate all learning and development activities across the business, ensuring spend is optimised and in line with budgets Manage relationships with training suppliers and our outsourced learning provider, ensuring high quality and value delivered by our partners and SLA's are met Manage all professional qualifications, policies and processes across the group, providing professional qualification support and guidance to employees and managers Design and deliver communication to raise awareness and drive engagement around our L&D Provide learning consultancy to the business Facilitate and deliver training for employees, managers and teams Responsibility for our Advance Programme, our early in careers development programme Deliver team development sessions where required Deliver performance management training to employees and managers during the performance review period Look for and implement process improvements, e.g. CII study automation and any new opportunities identified Graduate and Apprenticeship programme Responsibility for running our graduate and apprenticeship programmes Manage our Apprenticeship partners tightly, providing 121 support for our Apprentices, look for new opportunities to leverage the apprenticeship levy Induction and On-boarding Ensure a positive employee experience through the ownership of the design and delivery of the induction and on-boarding process, including delivering our monthly induction and six monthly department overview sessions Management Development Delivery of our management development programmes Mentoring programme With the Head of HR Business Partnering run our internal mentoring programme, ensuring an exceptional experience of our participating mentees and mentors Deliver regular training for our mentees and mentors Projects Design, deliver and support HR Projects and new initiatives where required Support the Talent Review and Talent Management processes Roll-out of Underwriting Selling Programme Regulatory requirements Manage the delivery of all our compliance training, working closely with our compliance team and training providers to ensure all needs are met HR Business Partner - Learning & Development - Key requirements Relevant Degree Accreditation in psychometric tools e.g. MBTI Desirable CIPD Experience in managing apprenticeship and graduate programme Experience in the design and delivery of training, talent, learning and development initiatives Experience in learning systems Management and Leadership Development Experience of Microsoft applications with advanced knowledge of Word and Excel Able to partner with the business and conduct training needs analysis with ability to design appropriate interventions Consultancy skills writing skills Coaching and facilitation skills Knowledge of latest learning thinking and best practice Desirable Understanding of ACII, Actuarial and Finance qualifications and study processes An understanding of insurance and its markets and principles An understanding of FSA ('Training and Competence') and other appropriate regulatory bodies' requirements in relation to learning & development Experience working with an outsourced L&D partner EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Essential PERSONAL SKILLS Relationship management Ability to work flexibly, juggling multiple tasks with a positive attitude Organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent writing skills Strong communication and inter-personal skills Professional outlook with a high level of customer focus Self motivated Proactive and innovative, continually seeking improvement Passionate about talent, leadership and learning, understands the wider HR agenda and flexible about getting involved across the team depending on priorities
