Reed Finance have partnered with a highly reputable organisation located in Kelso to recruit for a talented financial analyst to join their business on a permanent basis. As a financial analyst you will be responsible for driving improvement of financial performance. In order to do this the ideal candidate will handle a range of financial duties such as mitigation of risk, pricing and costings and balance sheet analysis. As well as the above key duties will include:
• Performing analysis of monthly results
• Performing analysis of sales & margins
• Responsible for various reporting to senior management
• Maintaining P&L integrity
• Identifying improvement areas The client is looking for a candidate who is either ACCA/CIMA/ICAS qualified or part qualified with a high attention to detail, a hands on approach and the ability to communicate numerical data to non-finance personnel. Other desirable criteria include:
• Experience of working in a similar role ( over 1 year)
• Ability to identify areas of opportunity & financial gain
