Payroll Supervisor £35,000 - £38,000 Bonus benefits Payroll Supervisor Robert Half are recruiting a Payroll Supervisor on behalf of an national business based in central Bristol. The role is perfect for someone with experience of managing a large, complex payroll with people management. The business can offer progression opportunities and an outstanding benefits package - including a final salary pension £35,000 - £38,000 The Role Reporting into the Payroll Manager - you will be responsible for a team of 4 people with the opportunity to take on a team of 8 after a few months. You will be managing a payroll of over 8000 staff across multiple sites in the UK. Key Duties: Manage the day-to-day running of the payroll function to provide an effective, controlled payroll and managed information service. Management, control and development of Cyborg and associated payroll systems to ensure time critical objectives are achieved, robust processes and controls are maintained and reviewed. To develop, improve and manage external systems that interface into the payroll system, ensuring data is transmitted into Cyborg in the most efficient and controlled manner. Ensuring controls are in place to safeguard assets and to ensure liabilities are settled in a time efficient and effective manner. Continually reviewing the internal controls associated with the payroll department. Leading and developing team members Responsible for the accurate, timely and controlled running of the payroll routines, from processing to BACS transmissions for all weekly and periodic payrolls. Submission of all payroll data to HMRC, RPMI and other third parties to ensure all deadlines are met, all reporting requirements are adhered to and compliance to all standards maintained. Ensuring compliant and ensuring all payroll transactions are appropriately authorised and that processes are documented, controlled and evidenced. Comply with Group's control procedures, ensuring that all standards and processes are followed and documented.
