Regulatory & Compliance Manager (FMCG) £35,000 Slough Science Solutions have formed a partnership with a global hair-care brand who are at the forefront of their industry. We are looking to recruit a Compliance Manager to join the team in ensuring compliance with ethical, environmental and regulatory standards for new and existing products, on a global basis. You will act as the company's expert with regards to all compliance and regulatory matters and you will be responsible for communicating risks, legislation changes and status updates. Key Duties: Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance for products across all markets Create and update all Product Information Files Coordinate with regulatory agencies, distributors and retailers to solve registration issues in existing and new markets Assist with the substantiation of product claims, including the review of marketing material Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes Stay abreast of pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organisational structure. Ensure all formulations submitted from suppliers comply with relevant legislation for all markets and with specific customer requirements Ensure the company complies with company/externally set standards for ingredients, products, processes and environment e.g. COSHH, Cosmetics Directive. Insure all suppliers manufacturing systems comply with European standards Manage product registration on CPNP Check all artwork for compliance with relevant legislation Key Requirements: Previous experience in regulatory affairs (FMCG) Have a good understanding of the current regulations, laws and industry requirements Self-organisation, motivation, planning, prioritising and time management Scientific background or equivalent of experience in Cosmetic regulatory affairs
