Management Accountant A global engineering business with presence in numerous countries around the world, have an opening for a Management Accountant to join their UK finance team. With an ever-expanding operation not just here in the UK but on a global scale this in an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional. Your role will not only support the Finance function, but you will offer expertise and advise to the rest of the business, as well as a personality to work in a collaborative fashion with stakeholders including Operations and Logistics management teams. The company has recently gone through some changes to expand its operation, including implementing a new ERP system (Navision) and this role will be also be critical in providing the current Finance team with an assured level of experience while the growth continues. Supporting Supporting the UK financial Controller and indirectly the CFO (EMEA) You will be directly responsible for: - Assist producing monthly management accounts - Produce Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasting when required - Assist in preparing financial accounts at year -end - Deal with any resulting queries from management or auditors - Quarterly VAT Returns and Monthly reports to EU - Finance Analysis when required - Oversee Stock reporting and raise any issues appropriately to management team or divisional management - To act as support with any system queries from employees Ideally You will need to have: - 2 Years' experience in similar level position - Ideally Part-qualified and studying - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Confident personality and stakeholder engagement skills - Must be motivated and self-starting In reward to the successful applicant you will receive - Basic Salary between £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience - Full study support both - financial and time - 36 hour working week - Generous non-contributory pension - Life insurance (after 12 months employment) - Death in service x2 - 21 days holiday BH's Xmas shutdown - Potential flexibility in working hours
