• Assist in the preparation and posting of allocation journals to the general ledger.
• Assist in the preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments journals to the general ledger. Assist in the production and distribution of standard monthly finance reports Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for review. Assist Finance Manager in preparation and review of management accounts. Financial reporting systems and procedures (full training & support will be provided) Assist the team and budget holders with finance-related queries Assist internal and external auditors To assist in other ad hoc tasks as required Knowledge, skills and experience Basic knowledge of accounting, plus computing & IT High standards of communication (written and oral), accuracy and numeracy Ideally currently studying towards professional accounting exams (AAT/CIMA/ACCA).
