Here, you will be at the heart of energy. About the role To provide a comprehensive development, implementation, training service to the Management Team, users and clients of UK Pensions Operations. You'll produce technical specifications for pension administration systems providers and comprehensive project plans for all developments. You will conduct thorough systems testing to verify that the software meets business requirements and conforms to appropriate Pensions legislation and industry standards. The role will also require you to prepare training materials and participate in the training of others on technical and legislative areas. This is a permanent part-time role, 18 - 20 hours per week, and the working days are flexible. About you You will have experience providing a comprehensive technical service on complex pensions/payroll issues. Experience producing technical specifications for pension administration systems providers. You will have experience producing comprehensive project plans, co-ordinating resources and running projects on a commercial basis. Demonstrable experience conducting thorough systems testing to verify that the software delivered meets business requirements, specifications and conforms to appropriate legislation and industry standards. By virtue of operating in an operational and development environment you will be comfortable receiving many requests and have the ability to prioritise and deal with these in the most appropriate and productive manner. Experience preparing training materials and participating in the training of others on technical and legislative areas. Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Access (Advanced), Project and Visio. Knowledge of Altair Pensions & Payroll System (to include Image, Report Writer (Advanced), Workflow, Member Self Service). You will have at least five GCSE's or equivalent (English and Maths essential) and an Associate of The Pensions Management Institute or equivalent qualification preferred.
