Assistant Management Accountant South Warrington Circa £24,000 - £26,000 Assistant Management Accountant required for a large International business based in South Warrington. They are service provider with a large International customer base operating in over 50 countries worldwide. The main responsibility initially is to support the Business Controller in the preparation of month end accounts, analysis and reconciliations. However the role will form part of structured Graduate programme, with the intention the roles will rotate every 12 months to provide experience in FP&A, Statutory Accounting and Commercial Analysis. Job Description: Preparing accounts for month end for multiple locations, under the supervision of the Business Controller. Responsibility for month end tasks including revenue reconciliation, posting of accrued income, cost accruals and prepayments. Responsibility for analysing trends, chasing outstanding invoices and challenging unexpected costs to ensure accuracy. Revenue Assurance - to ensure all outstanding billing is actioned accordingly. Collaboration and liaison with other teams within finance to address issues in relation to billing, accounts payable and payroll. Analysis of payroll files on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy. Calculation and posting of accruals for overtime and holiday pay. Supporting the Business Controller with preparation of monthly reports, budgets and forecasts as required. Assisting with Audits by provision of information to internal and external auditors as required Other ad hoc duties in support of the controller. You will need to be a graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 degree, in a Finance related discipline and have some accounting experience. It would be beneficial to have some exposure to Management Accounts, although this is not essential, if you can demonstrate the drive and ambition required for this role. The role offers a salary of £24,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience) plus CIMA / ACCA study support, 25 days holiday and pension.
