Payroll Clerk Reepham £16,000 - £19,000 This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business. This new role is a result of continued growth of the business and will become part of an expanding finance team. This is an entry level position to support and provide resilience to the Payroll team as well as the wider finance department. This would suit someone with a positive attitude and a can-do approach who is willing to learn and looking to develop themselves or alternatively someone who has already started that journey, full training will be provided. Processing monthly payroll for the business. Maintain and update payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data. Support the processing of all new starters and leavers. Support production of Payslips, P60's, P11d's and any other required reports. Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting and implementing change where necessary. Provide payroll information by responding to questions and requests as well as resolving payroll discrepancies in a timely fashion. Support with the production of payroll data and analysis for internal reporting and external submission. Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Any reasonable duties that the company may require from time to time. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Good administration skills with great attention to detail Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines Reliability, honesty and above all discretion and confidentiality Sound judgement and decision-making abilities Flexible and responsive with the ability to prioritise and manage time well. A good general standard of education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics. Confident in using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel as well as Google and other software. Desirable Skills Organised and methodical with ability to multi-task across several projects The ability to interpret data and draw the correct inferences from it ability to handle difficulties with patience and good sense Formal Payroll or Accounts training Full driving licence Previous UK Payroll and/or Accounts experience Experience of using Sage Payroll 50 Working knowledge of current UK Payroll legislation If this role sounds of interest, please APPLY today
