Management Accountant job | Permanent | Burnley | Study Support | Up to £30,000 per annum | Full time

Your new company
Your new company is a local, well established business based in central Burnley, Lancashire. Due to an internal promotion, they are now seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their small team on a permanent and full time basis.

Your new role
Your new role will be to act as an accountant to the business and provide a range of services to support and deliver financial control.
Your day to day duties processing of all financial account activities, reviewing and preparing monthly and annual reports, providing financial insight to the senior management team. Your daily duties will include monitoring day to day financial operations within the company including supplier invoices, supplier payments, payroll transactions and other adhoc finance admin. You will also be researching and analysing financial reports to then prepare and present to management alongside liaising with third party accountants for payroll, banking services and other financial needs. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position, it is required for you to a degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics and be currently studying or be prepared to study towards a financial accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACA or ACCA. You should have the ability to adapt to new, accounting software and have experience working on Excel, ideally to an intermediate to advanced level. You should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding Sage packages and experience within a financial or banking practice would be an advantage.

What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be offered a permanent salary between £23,000 - £30,000 which is dependent on experience.
