Ruby Group are recruiting for a Central London based Temporary Management Accountant opportunity suitable for a talented individual ideally within the marketing and communications industry for three months with the view to extend and a small possibility of a permanent transition. This is a £10 million turnover division of a £170 million turnover group. It is a typical agency environment with very open, friendly and easy going people and lots of opportunities to get involved. You will be responsible for the accuracy of their full set of monthly management accounts while potentially having line management oversight of a Finance Assistant. Other elements will include:
• Trial balances from supporting ledgers and reconciling between groups of accounts
• Intercompany reporting and reconciliation
• Overseeing the smooth running of the monthly payments and expenses process
• Banking relationship management
• VAT reconciliations, cash forecasting and variance analysis The ideal Management Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Small team line management experience (desirable)
• Marketing communications industry experience (or similar - desirable)
• Exposure to the Maconomy ERP system (desirable)
• A stable CV with longer contracts or permanent roles
• An ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified accountant (desirable) This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a great business in central London with long term prospects.
