Audit Assistant Manager, Milton Keynes £35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits Our client, one of the Top 6 Accounting firms, are looking to source a bright and highly motivated finalist/newly qualified Accountant to join their dynamic team at an Assistant Manager level. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to join a well-recognised organisation and build on an existing skillset. Key responsibilities will include: Prepare the audit and accounts planning for corporate clients Lead on site fieldwork to ensure delivery of a high quality product for Manager / Partner review Prepare UK corporation tax returns Prepare statutory financial state Liaise with clients to resolve queries and obtain further information Work closely with the Manager and Partner to advise on any issues Mentor new trainees and assist with their development and on the job training Build effective relationships across the internal team and with external clients Ad hoc projects as required The ideal candidate will be either a finalist of newly qualified ACA/ACCA having at least 2 years' experience working within a similar audit based role. You will have proven experience of preparing statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and auditing them under International Auditing Standards. You will be a confident communicator, able to build credible relationships with clients and other team members. You will be able to handle conflicting demands of clients where necessary and have the flexibility to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
