The Company Large consumer based organisation based South of the Tyne, North East. The Role Responsible for the daily review and chasing of overdue accounts across a large ledger. Weekly & monthly reporting of overdue accounts Daily input and reconciliation of cash against invoices, on all UK accounts. Effective liaison with all other departments and agencies within the UK. Maintaining excellent customer service and handling queries professionally Reporting monthly credit control KPIS (Daily Sales Outstanding) Obtaining credit references when requested. Preparation of daily 'orders on stop' reporting. Review & provide proposal for suggested resolution. Preparation of analysis to assist in credit terms reviews / changes. Ensuring appropriate approvals are in place for all credit terms agreed and internal controls are adhered to The Person Previous credit control experience Strong analytical skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain working relationships at all levels of the organisation Proficient use of Microsoft packages - Excel/ Word/Powerpoint Previous experience of SAP is preferred High level of commitment, positive attitude, flexible and proactive Passion for providing the best customer service to internal and external customers
