Salary:
Circa £55,000 Global Asset Management Business This is the chance to join a global, market-leading and rapidly expanding Asset Management business as a Management Accountant, based in offices close to Piccadilly and Oxford Street. The role will be broad and varied, with an ability to autonomously liaise with multiple functions across the organisation on business-critical matters. Excellent Learning and Development environment. The Role As the Management Accountant you will join a small, but growing team in London and report to the Head of Finance. A snapshot of your day to day responsibilities include:
• Monthly Management Accounts preparation for individual global entities
• Company-wide budgeting, forecasting and cost management activities
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of monthly management accounts
• Year end and month end accounts
• Analyse financial performance and forecast longer term horizons
• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts, including liaison with auditors
• Prepare strategic recommendations based on financials for business leaders
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by Head of Finance and senior management team
• Varied management accounting/analysis role with project responsibility
• Continually strive to improve processes, systems, controls and reporting The Successful Candidate A strong Candidate for this Management Accountant role will have the following qualifications and experience:
• ACA / CIMA Qualified - Ideally around 12 to 24 months post qualification
• Demonstrable management accounting knowledge and a clear ability to lead reporting cycles
• Financial accounting or financial control experience
• Financial services sector experience, preferably Asset Management or Investment Bank
• Strong numerical and detail orientated skillset is essential
• A commercial mind-set and value add approach
• Strong use of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
• Previous experience of Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems, would be beneficial
• Strong communication and business partnering skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity and working in an environment undergoing a period of growth What's on Offer to the Successful Candidate
