HEADCOUNT PHARMACEUTICAL KEY ACCOUNT MARKET ACCESS MANAGER - EPILEPSY We are currently seeking a key account manager / business manager in the following geographical area: SR 4554London, Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire/Peterborough, Essex Our client is an independent European pharmaceutical company which specialises in the development and commercialization of medications for the treatment of CNS related conditions. In this headcount role reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for their portfolio of Epilepsy products and will have sole accountability for your territory, addressing barriers to access, and increasing sales by identifying prescribers, influencers and decision-making groups that have an impact on prescribing. Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Creating and delivering a business plan which prioritises key accounts
• Developing a network of influential customers, clinical and procurement stakeholders, and leverages these relationships to ensure advocacy towards the company's brands
• Positioning the products to drive adherence and reduce unwanted hospital admissions
• Ensuring optimal positioning and implementation of the brands onto the local healthcare economy guidelines
• Identifying and developing key opinion leaders to ensure they are in alignment with the brand messages
• Ensuring sales uptake within key accounts through a strong implementation plan
• Analysing sales data, identifying target markets to increase client base and maximise opportunities
• Creating and implementing innovative solutions which would drive prescribing of the brands. On this occasion our client is seeking to recruit candidates who fulfil the following criteria:
• Educated to degree or equivalent level, preferably in a life science or business-based subject
• ABPI qualified with a detailed understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice and its practical application in a business environment
• Live on territory
• Proven track record of delivering results in a multi-stakeholder model
• Demonstrable experience of engaging with Primary Care organisations at Medicines Management level and customers that have beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders
• Experience of dealing with health economic data
• Self-driven with demonstrable ability to set and achieve own objectives
• Significant experience of customer negotiation skills
• Previous neurology / neuroscience therapy area experience required
• Need to hold a full UK driving license (with no more than 6 points)
