A national Public Sector organisation based on the outskirts of Southampton, are seeking to recruit an Interim Assistant Accountant on an initial 6-month contract to assist with a number of planning deadlines. Reporting in to the Director of the division you will be expected to provide advice and guidance on a number of financial plans to stakeholders across the organisation. You will support with the quarter and year-end closedown of the ledger including the preparation of accounts and their supporting schedules. You will have previous experience of working in either a Credit Control, Purchase Ledger or Assistant Accountant role and a strong working knowledge of Excel is essential. Interviews will be taking place w/c 11 th & 18 th march and you must be available to start within 4 weeks.
