Payroll HR Assistant Global Manufacturer £23-25,000 benefits You will have several years payroll experience and be responsible for the preparation, running and output of monthly payroll for 800 heads.Strong Payroll experience is essential. May suit an experienced Payroll Officer , Payroll Administrator or Payroll Assistant working within the HR team
• Prepare, check and send payroll data to bureau for processing the monthly payroll for 800 hourly and salary paid employees, to include: Transfer payroll information from the time and attendance to the payroll system, running checks to ensure accuracy, Calculate statutory payments. Process manual payroll calculations as required
• Assist with the administration of a modified payroll for expat employees
• Assist in the preparation of P11d's
• Update the time and attendance system; to include loading holiday requests, appointment requests, amend clocking details and update employee data
• Produce letters for pension auto-enrolment.
• Check and pay expense claims in line with Company policy and HMRC guidelines (knowledge of VAT rules will be given) using in-house system.
• Prepare response for external/internal earnings enquiries,
• provide numerous salary reports to the H.R. department
• Responsible for collation of pension reports and all other month end payroll reports.
• Provide ad-hoc reports and information as per the needs of the payroll /HR department and other departments within the business.

• A sound knowledge of HMRC:PAYE and National Insurance guidelines for Employers
• Previous payroll experience of end to end payroll duties
• Previous experience of processing multi-site payrolls
• Working knowledge of time and attendance systems is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
• Proficient at using Microsoft Excel/Word and Outlook
• Knowledge of pension auto enrolment
• Experience of working in a Manufacturing Environment is desirable but not essential You must have excellent time keeping and attendance
• Very good attention to detail,
• excellent numeracy and written skills May suit an experienced Payroll Officer , Payroll Administrator or Payroll Assistant working within the HR team Swansea area, payroll experience is essential
