The Company: Our Client is a large Investment management company that invests on behalf of private clients. They are an entrepreneurial firm with exciting growth prospects. The Role: The Assistant Management Accountant will sit within the Finance team of this Investment Management company, they will report to the Senior Management Accountant providing accurate MI & analysis of the financial information. On a daily/weekly basis the Assistant Management Accountant will produce accurate & timely MI for all business areas, ensuring that all key trends & anomalies are investigated. Assist in the production of the monthly MI pack including the overview of the company's performance that month. Update & enhance the MI dashboards ensuring that key information is delivered to the business channels promptly. Ledger postings & other ad-hoc intermittent functions. The Candidate: 2 years Accounting / Management Accounting experience - working within a finance team. Studying for or prepared to study for CIMA or equivalent accounting qualifications. Ability to work in a corporate financial services environment. Detail & accuracy focused with a flexibility of approach in respect of managing workloads & performing varied tasks. Ability to communicate with all levels of seniority and external counterparties. Highly numerical with qualifications that support this. Retail financial services background & experience of using SunSystems & Q&A would be advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel - V-Lookups & Pivot Tables
