RWR Recruitment are excited to be recruiting on a full time basis for a Compliance Assistant to work in a luxury Cardiff office on a 12 month fixed term contract. The ideal candidate will have previously implemented data protection and GDPR regulations into a previous role ideally within the finance industry and be driven and determined to complete all work to a high standard with great attention to detail. Compliance Assistant will: Provide support to the compliance team including GDPR, Information Management and policy and procedures Provide support to ensure the company is fully compliant at all times Regularly monitor and update GDPR action plans Assist with the development of a schedule of work to comply with the data minimisation principle Promote importance of GDPR regulations in all projects carried out in the business Develop the ongoing maintenance of a central contracts register to ensure compliance is key with cyber security Support the development of existing policy documentation Essential skills required: Must have strong knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles Experience of applying data protection within a business previously ideally in the finance sector Able to apply a range of research techniques to gather relevant information Strong communicator Must have strong attention to detail Must be IT literate Knowledge of information management practices IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ENSURING GDPR IS A KEY LEGISLATION ADHERED TO IN YOUR PRESENT POST, PLEASE APPLY BY FORWARDING YOUR CV TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POST
