This Corporate Tax Senior Associate opportunity is with a fantastic 6 Partner boutique accountancy firm based on the outskirts of Guildford, the county town of Surrey. The firm specialises in providing bespoke advice and compliance services to owner-managed businesses ("OMB's"). Established over 20 years ago the firm has developed a fantastic reputation with continuous growth resulting in the need for a Corporate Tax Senior Associate. As a Corporate Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients most of which will be OMBs, completing corporation tax computations and returns. You will also be expected to advise clients on their tax payments and quarterly instalments. You will be expected to build strong professional relationships within the firm, with existing clients and prospective with the end goal of becoming a key point of contact within the business in order to bring on new work. You will also be expected to assist the more junior members of the team, reviewing their compliance work and assisting with professional development. In addition to this, you will be expected to assist the Senior Managers and Directors with their advisory work as and when it comes in. The firm prides itself on having very little staff turnover with a family feel to the office. The team regularly socialise outside of work, however attendance is not expected. With sports clubs and summer outings, the firm is open to ideas on how they can continuously improve. In order to successfully obtain this position, the candidate must have proven Corporate Tax experience within Practice. In addition to this the candidate should ideally be educated to degree level and ATT qualified or equivalent experience.
