Boasting impressive results so far this year, the business is continuing to demonstrate YoY growth and are continuing to expand their international presence. Following several recent acquisitions, they are looking to expand their group finance function to deliver first class technical advice to both finance & the wider business, in what will be a highly visible role. responsibilities:
Ensure the group maintains compliance with accounting standards - being proactive in investigating & understanding changing accounting standards Providing technical expertise to the business as well as finance to ensure adherence on the application & interpretation of accounting standards Ensuring revenue recognition process across the company is in line with current accounting standards and regulations (IFRS 15) Extensive interaction with senior stakeholders across the business, leading on multiple projects Managing the relationship with external auditors Leading implementation of new accounting standards & any changes across processes & systems that are required Owning the group accounting policy manual & technical accounting documents Delivering statutory accounts in accordance with external deadlines & group guidelines Key requirements: Qualified accountant with a strong background in IFRS Strong analytical capabilities & the ability to communicate and influence decision-making of C-level executives Experience developing accounting policies & controls within a global business Demonstrable team leadership and coaching skills This is a fantastic opportunity to move into a senior leadership role within a leading FTSE business very much in the ascendancy.
