Key Accountabilities: Management Accounts To support the team to develop and implement a robust month end process and controls, creating efficiencies and continuously improving processes Ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards To produce the monthly Group Management Accounts pack and ensure that significant variances are explained To assist with monthly Group consolidation including any consolidation journals required including international operations Assist with the accruals and prepayments process including posting of the more complex monthly accruals / prepayments Ensure adherence to the month end and year end close reporting timelines Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and participate in the review process Audit and Statutory Accounts Participate in the preparation of all statutory accounts for UK entities and the Group consolidated accounts Participate in the preparation of the year-end audits including close liaison with the auditors Keep abreast of and implement technical accounting changes as they apply to the business Cash Flow Management Produce the weekly cash flow forecast including interaction with other stakeholders as appropriate Participate in long-term cash flow planning What we're looking for (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) part-qualified Desirable Experience of working in all areas of management reporting in a high-volume environment, preferably retail Previous experience working within a global or international retail organisation Experience within a private equity backed business Cash flow management experience.
