A unique insurance company based in Southampton is recruiting an Assistant Accountant for an ongoing temporary assignment to cover long term sick. The successful Assistant Accountant will be working closely with the Finance Director supporting with month end. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the following:
• Maintenance of purchase ledger and sales ledger
• Credit control
• Processing staff expenses
• Day to day banking
• Assist Financial Controller with the production of monthly management accounts and other financial and management reporting
• Any other ad hoc analysis and reconciliation work The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
• Proven experience working as an Assistant Accountant / Accountant
