Job Description Role: Accounts Assistant Reporting to: Financial Controller

Location:
Wokingham, Berkshire Status: Part time 10 -2 (Monday to Friday) Overview of Role Responsibility for invoicing API, complex, weekly and monthly client invoices using Xero
• API are prepaid and digitally shipped invoices
• Complex invoices which require spreadsheet order analysis
• Weekly white label commissions, Marketing Fees & Reward Cloud orders
• Monthly merged invoices, Fees & reports Key Accountabilities: o Invoicing
• API Invoices production o 7 to 15 daily requiring some spreadsheet analysis
• Complex invoices for one customer, up to 3 daily, requiring analysis
• Completion of weekly B2C control sheet. o Download of some data from third party sites and filtering o Using control sheet to invoice 5 White label commissions weekly
• Completion of weekly Reward Cloud Invoice o Download of third party data o Analysis of data (sorting)
• Raising of weekly marketing fees to suppliers o 2-3 currently but more anticipated
• Completion of monthly invoices for monthly billed clients o Completion of single invoice backup from daily orders o Merging of orders on order system o 9 customers / 13 invoices o Sundry special sales reporting o Sundry self billing supplier invoices Person Specification
• Can work independently, show initiative, and be proactive in their work approach.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work effectively, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Conduct themselves confidently and professionally, with the ability to engage efficiently with internal teams, external partners and third party providers.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work within a structured framework and to deadlines. Qualifications and Core Skills
• AAT preferred but not essential
• Xero experience preferred but not essential
• Proficient in Excel to an advanced level. o Knowledge of Sum / Vlookup functions o Knowledge of data manipulation functions
• Some knowledge of UK VAT legislation and application to foreign clients
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy for the inputting of financial data.
