FINANCIAL CONTROLLER, FIFE (£45,000 - £48,000) Change Recruitment Group are currently partnering with a global manufacturing business in Fife, in their search for a new Financial Controller. The business operate at the fore front of their sector and are a market leader, on a global scale. As Financial Controller, you will hold a particularly varied role, with a nice mix of both core financial and commercial activities. It will be a rewarding, whilst challenging role and is well suited to those who have demonstrated a high level of performance in their career to date. Particular areas of responsibility within the role:
• Month end closure in accordance with divisional timelines
• Prepare annual budgets
• Providing management with comprehensive insight into the financial impact of operational performance, allowing key financial decisions to be made
• Pro-actively advise on trends and deviations on financial performance
• Act as Business Partner to key / senior stakeholders across the site inc. FD, Site Director and Manufacturing Controller
• Working closely with operations management to define yields and production targets
• Prepare CER's for new investment
• Monitor and advise on overall spend v budget This is a fantastic opportunity for those coming from a strong commercial background, and backed up with a track record of delivering optimum financial performance. Initially there would be no staff responsibilities, and in effect it is more of a Finance Business Partner. It's one of the most interesting roles that I've seen of late and sure to appeal to a wide audience, with the added scope of international travel over time. What do we require?
• Ideally you will be fully qualified, although those who are Qualified by Experience will also be considered
• A sound knowledge of core accounting requirements and standards
• Experienced Finance Business Partner
• Solid understanding of standard costing process
• Someone who demonstrates strong leadership qualities, with a confident communication style
• Previous experience of using SAP
• Driven, articulate and ambitious As stated, this will be a challenging but highly rewarding role and one that is tailored to those on the upward curve of their career and hungry for progression.
