My client is an outsourcing and facilities management provider, currently delivering on a transformation program that is delivering significant savings to the business. This role within the central costs function will give wide exposure across different areas of the business, and an opportunity to partner with senior stakeholders from both finance and non-finance backgrounds. Within a best in class function, the Finance Business Partner will support the business unit director, providing essential finance insight, commercial analysis as well as budgeting and forecasting for the area. Key responsibilities include: Consolidation and reporting for business unit costs Month end close for the function, collaborating with the FP&A manager to understand variances Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for divisional overheads Cost centre tracking Involvement with M&A activity, ensuring that projected cost savings are realised Identifying and driving cost reduction initiatives across the group Suitable candidates will match all or most of the following: Qualified accountant Highly proficient with Excel and Powerpoint Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A process improvement and change mentality Ability to summarise and communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
