An experienced Finance Manager is required to join our client based at their site in rural Lincolnshire. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry Accountant to join a thriving group of companies with global presence. This is a full-time, permanent role with the working hours of 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday The company are a well-established manufacturing company, providing complex liquid formulations to many different industries including the Agriculture, Energy and other industry sectors. For this role we are seeking a qualified accountant with a wealth of hands-on knowledge with company finances. Working alongside the Board of Directors the Finance Manager will be advising on all financial matters and guiding the best path of growth for the business. There is the possibility of progression to Director level for this role, with time. The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for all aspects of the finance function and where necessary, support and collaborate with other Group companies. Primary responsibilities will include: To take overall control of the company's accounts function including budget preparation, cash flow forecasts, sales & purchase ledger, expense control, debt collection and credit limits, banking (including foreign currency management) inventory reporting and control Provide leadership to the Boards Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimise the company's financial performance and strategic position Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business Providing Financial Analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers Ensure company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth Lead and Develop the finance team Ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash management policies Monthly management accounts reporting and supervision of balance sheet reconciliation Statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit package Ensure all regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met Corporate finance: manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions Support procurement, trading and contract management Establish a high level of credibility and manage working relationships with external stakeholders The following Qualifications, Skills and Attributes are also required: Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification A commercially astute, dynamic and influential leader with the ability to operate at strategic and operational levels Corporate Tax experience Exceptional communication skills Strong IT skills The ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision making High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance Strong analytical skill Staff Management and mentoring and team building skills The outstanding opportunity comes with a generous package and the opportunity to travel internationally.
