£45,000 - £50,000 Industry: Service Sector We are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing Service business based in Chester, who are recruiting for a Commercial Accountant to work in their Head Office. Our client is a dynamic business who has achieved an impressive growth year on year The Commercial Accountant will report directly to the Group Financial Controller. Your new role will require you to spend time within the business unit to advise and make recommendations on increased profitability. The Commercial Accountant will analyse revenue and margin data and present to senior management of the business unit and the senior finance team on profitability. You will be responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasts and analyse performance again budgets. This role will also include the preparation of monthly financial accounting and reporting to include the investigation of any variances, preparation of board reports and balance sheet reconciliations. As they continue to grow, this role will also include the review of processes and procedures and seek to make changes to improve controls. This position is extremely varied, and you will also be involved in adhoc projects, commercial bid support and business case review.
