A leading national travel and tourism organisation, based in Wythenshawe, are looking to recruit an experienced Group Accountant to assist them during an extremely busy period. The Role and Responsibilities of the Group Accountant position will include: Managing the month end close process, ensuring that ledgers are closed to strict deadlines. Monthly profit and loss analysis. Balance sheet reconciliations. Budgeting and forecasting. Weekly cash forecasting of expenditure and income. Variance analysis. Cost centre reviews. Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure results are interpreted correctly. Responsible for maintenance fixed assets, ensuring correct capitalisation and depreciation. Assist auditors with their annual in-depth review of the market rates and balance sheet accounts.
