Assistant Accountant - Business Services - The Role: As the Assistant Accountant, reporting to the Business Services Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of SME clients. Responsibilities will include: Undertaking accounts preparation and tax computations for a variety of limited company, partnership and sole trader clients. Liaising with clients and attending existing and prospective client meetings. Supporting the Manager with projects. Assisting less experienced staff. Assistant Accountant - Business Services - The Person: To be successful in this role you will have recent experience of accounts preparation gained in practice and ideally ACA/ACCA part-qualified, although applications from AAT qualified and qualified by experience accountants are also very welcome. This is a role with client interaction, so you will need to be a confident communicator and comfortable liaising with clients. In addition, you will be experienced supervising and developing less experienced staff.
