A leading UK business has partnered with Robert Walters to recruit a Credit Manager to join their head office based in Manchester. The role will be on an ongoing basis with a view to be made permanent. As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading cash collection for the business, as well as contributing to chasing debt alongside the credit controllers Ensuring your team prioritise their workload in order to achieve targets Forecasting accurate and realistic cash collection figures Ensuring relevant KPIs are achieved, including but not limited to: cash collection targets, reduction in aged debt, and reduction in debtor days Providing management information to facilitate weekly KPI performance reporting Working with the Head of Finance Transformation to transition an additional sales ledger following a recent acquisition Identifying and implementing process efficiencies within the team Managing bad debt Completing/reviewing sales ledger reconciliations Resolving complex and escalated customer billing queries and attending customer meetings with the sales team to resolve issues if required Monitoring the team's performance and addressing performance issues Coaching and developing the team Supporting the Finance Management Team with ad hoc requests as required As a Credit Manager, you will have/be: A minimum of five years' experience as a Credit Control Supervisor / Manager Experience of managing a team Excellent communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Computer literate - proficient with MS packages A proactive approach to work A Credit Management related qualification is desirable but not essential Experience of transitioning new business into the department would be advantageous For more information on this role, or any other finance roles based in Manchester, please contact Keifer Power at Robert Walters PLC on or 0161 240 7495.
