Finance Business Partner/Commercial Finance Partner - FTSE Listed Bank

The Client:
Harmonic are excited to be working with a major merchant bank. We are working on behalf of a fast-growing FTSE Listed Bank who are investing heavily in restructuring their Finance function. The business has a fantastic reputation for being 'different' to other major banks. They are well known for their non-corporate, down to earth culture which supports people both from a career and personal perspective. This is an opportunity to join the company in a business-critical role in one of the newest and rapidly expanding product lines in the company. My client is well regarded for supporting career progression and internal promotion so in the mid-term this offers the opportunity to progress into other areas of the business and pick up increased exposure as you progress through your studies. The Role: The Finance Business Partner will support and manage the forecasting and planning for the entire business unit. Also, the role will be heavily commercial, liaising with key stakeholders in the business, providing analysis and information accurately. You will be primarily working within their office in Central London but may have to do 1 day a week in their office based in South London. Duties day to day: Responsible for providing the financial reports and planning to support the Financial Director Business Partnering key stakeholders ensuring all relevant information is getting reported accurately Managing all year-end and monthly accounts ensuring all timelines are met Liaising and providing support for various teams across the business unit Ensuring all compliance and regulatory bodies are met and followed correctly Overseeing processes and implementing new ones where appropriate, improving efficiency of systems What we need to see (Essential): ACA/ACCA/CIMA Fully qualified Great knowledge of MS Office Packages, Excel and PowerPoint An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Driven and ambitious individual Strong communication and negotiation skills with finance and non-finance teams Ability to take ownership and multi-task with various business activities on a daily basis What we'd like to see (Not Essential): Evidence and a strong foundation of using systems such as SAP
