Working for an internationally established but growing organization, Accountancy Action are excited to present a commercially focused Finance Director role in a truly entrepreneurial business based in Central London. The organization has grown dramatically in the last 2-3 years focused with multiple business lines but all centralized with Sport in mind. Our client currently has market share in consultancy, agencies, events and Marketing. Reporting into the CEO, the successful individual will be the acting Finance Director running the day-to-day of the finance team, covering management accounts, cashflow etc. The opportunity holds weight within the business, contributing to key strategic decisions, managing and working with Budget/stakeholders: Key Responsibilities will include but not limited too:
• Financial Leadership
• Finance Strategy
• Commercial Insight and Analysis
• Management and Financial Reporting
• Financial Control
• Statutory Reporting, Audit & Compliance
• Payroll Accountancy Action are actively sourcing individuals and whilst remain open to all profiles; our client has outlined the key requirements to be considered.
• Due to the nature of this role is imperative that you hold strong communication skills, matched with commercial acumen.
• Ability and confidence to challenge the status que and act as a sounding board to the CEO collectively coming to commercial decisions
• Technically strong and able to run the day to day function of accounts, supervising two staff.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and present critical business information.
• Energetic and keen to contribute to a dynamic, highly entrepreneurial environment that is constantly changing and assessing opportunities Must be:
• Qualified ACA or ACA
• Both Technically and Commercial minded
