12 month Contract Role AAT Level 4 - Accounts Payable Professional

A thriving and busy engineering company are looking for an experience finance professional to join the business due to company growth and development. The company is based in Stockton and is commutable via public transport.
Your new role
The role will be mainly responsible for reconciliation and adjustments of various general ledger accounts and the preparation of financial reports and statements. Reporting into the finance manager you will play an integral part in compiling, consolidating and conducting basic analysis of accounting and finance information. The excel system will be used in order to prepare charts, tables and complex reporting.
The projects will be relating to the AP function and will incorporate double entry, balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring payments runs are completed successfully and what impacts payments within the bash management processes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be AAT Level 4 Qualified, with proficient use of Excel including, PIVOT, VLOOKUPS, Macros and formulae, experience of on-line banking, experience of accounts payable and a good understanding of accounting flows - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management.
