Your new company
A leading property developer and leisure company are currently recruiting for a Accounts Assistant to join the team on a temp to perm basis. The company is going through a successful and fast-moving businesses experience which has led to a very exciting period of growth. As such, the current accounts assistant has been promoted to a finance manager which is why the position has arisen. The hourly rate is paying up to £15 and the permanent salary will be £25,000 + study


Your new role
You need to have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a finance based role. You will be given training and development as well as study support to enable the successful candidate to become a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA). You key duties will include:

-Processing accounts payable invoices for all group companies
-Handling calls and queries from suppliers
-Raising customer invoices
-Managing relationships with all debtors
-Providing support to business users in the preparation of purchase orders
-Preparing expense claims and process expense claims
-Daily and monthly bank account reconciliations
-Nominal account reconciliations
-Setting up payment runs
-Processing monthly payment applications for various funders
-Updating property investment appraisals on a monthly basis
-Providing general support to finance team as required
-There will also be involvement in account reconciliations and supporting the preparation and reporting of each company's results at month end.


What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 6 months experience, attention to detail, driven and tenacious individual with a passion for finance.
