£45,000 - £50,000 Bonus Excellent Benefits The Company: Our client is a market leading 3PL that offer specialist services to a broad range of FMCG customers. Due to continued growth at their Hoddesdon DC, they are looking to recruit a dynamic, people focused Stock & Compliance Manager to manage the stock integrity of a large scale multi-customer site. The Role: As the Stock & Compliance Manager, the core function of your role will be to successfully lead the strategy and operational execution of all stock operations on site, ensuring world class standards across a number of premium customer contracts. This is a fast-paced operation that requires a people focused stock management specialist to lead and develop a team of administrators and inventory clerks. In addition, you will be responsible for the ongoing management of the KPI Dashboard centred around stock integrity ensuring the business exceeds its challenging customer targets. Additional responsibilities include; Investigating all stock related discrepancies, adjusting stock levels where applicable and providing trend analysis for the same. Working closely with the operations team at all levels to drive continuous improvement in terms of stock accuracy. Ensuring processes and reporting meet both the customers daily needs and contractually agreed targets. Performing stock checks as per customers' requirements, host any internal or external audit requests. Maintaining pick location and bin slotting activities to match the sales activity requirements. Creating and maintaining an environment that encourages employee participation and effective team working. The Candidate: The Stock & Compliance Manager role forms part of the Senior Management team on site and requires a highly analytical, people focussed individual with experience of working within a high volume and SKU range, fast-paced DC environment. To be considered in this role you must have extensive experience in setting PI & stock count strategies to optimise the balance of stock integrity & operational cost in addition to proven experience in providing solutions to complex stock integrity issues, working across multiple systems. Experience of working within Retail, FMCG or 3PL operations would be highly advantageous, as would experience of working within a bonded warehouse. Tom Samuel Recruitment Ltd.
