Compliance Manager This is an exciting opportunity to join my client who are building out their existing Compliance function and need to add an experienced Compliance Manager to head up the team. The Compliance Manager will be expected to help manage the support of the organisation by embedding Conduct Risk management and leading the delivery and strategic compliance projects. You will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of compliance and provide regulatory advice to the whole organisation. Key responsibilities include: Oversee the portfolio of compliance delivering various key projects within your remit and any related to the group. Ensuring robust arrangements are in place to provide regulatory advice to the Group on activities which are subject to the rules and guidance of the FCA / PRA; in particular in connection with product development and external regulatory developments. Providing meaningful regular MI reports including astute qualitative and quantitative analysis in relation to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), Conduct Risk and, as needed, other areas covered by the Corporate Compliance team with support from team members. You will support the Corporate Compliance Manager and manage a team of 2 project Advisors Oversee any financial promotions ensuring all robust records are kept in place for review and approval of promotions and communications Providing meaningful analysis to the Group including highlighting key risks within particular business areas and supporting team members to do the same. Deliver an ongoing conduct risk framework Design and implement appropriate systems and controls to ensure a positive outcome for the fair treatment of customers Delivery and design Strategy frameworks to include: conduct risk strategy, conduct risk methodology, training, reporting and controls Requirements: Ideally 6 years' experience within Financial service industry 3 years' experience within Compliance role or Compliance department Must have an in-depth understanding of financial regulations in relation to FCA and PRA handbooks, rules and guidance Prior experience of conduct risk programmes and management of Must have previous experience managing teams and nurturing talent and development Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with Senior Managers is also essential.
