FINTEC recruit is seeking a Data Protection and Compliance Coordinator working in the insurance sector. This is a permanent position with salary £25,000 to £30,000
Responsibilities:
Advisory role on insurance compliance and anti-money laundering legislation To be the focal point of contact for compliance and external audits Coordinate and act upon data breaches in line with policies To assist with audits in line with ISO 27001 and general ISO accreditations Familiar with Landlord compliance and the (SRA) Solicitors Regulation Authority. Assist in compliance processes and monitor regulatory requirements for the group Undertake risk assessments and compile reports Experience and Skills required for the Data Protection and Compliance Coordinator role: Minimum of two years' compliance experience within an Insurance brokerage or related financial services environment Working knowledge of the financial services/general insurance market Good working awareness of UK regulations, including the FCA Handbook, AML, GDPR and TCF requirements together with their implications upon business activities An understanding of SRA requirements would be beneficial Full details of the Data Protection and Compliance Coordinator is available on application.
